Our philosophy

Founder – Yoshiaki Ishigaki (石垣 允顕)

I believe jobless young people are not good enough because they lack experience and knowledge, ending up making many mistakes.

Why don’t people study enough nowadays?
They can’t use proficiently any of the tools at work. And, without reading about the basics of a job, you can never be a good worker.

I am not talking about this company but in general. Have you noticed the quality improvements in China recently? Why do you think so? It’s due to the restructuring of Japanese companies which layoff skilled workers over 50, who are then hired by Chinese.

Instead, here they buy/built machines to substitute the human labor. Soon Chinese manufacturing will overtake the Japanese. Moreover when Chinese are studying hard. Japan is losing skills and experienced labor and will lose the ability to keep the best minds in the country in the near future.

Bicycles are a great product. However, we find people using mainly poor quality mass-production bicycles. Everyone is different, some are taller, some have longer legs, shorter arms, heavier,… but they go for the average!

In recent years, people tend to care more about the colors, if the brand is fashionable, and forget about the most important feature, quality. We see European and American car makers names on bicycles and people buy them just because of the name on the frame, thinking only about status. You can find these bicycles costing around 500000 Yen, but where is the quality you are paying for???

Also, because bicycles are used on daily lifestyle by many, they end up buying only very cheap low quality bicycles, for 5000 yen or less. Then you see our leaders complaining on TV about parking issues in major cities. They are so cheap people simply abandon them and replace for another cheap bicycle. Waste of material, resources, money, space and only creates more pollution.

If you go to Europe, you barely find any of these bicycles. Europe’s cobbled streets required stronger frames. They like good quality products, fashionable products is not enough. There is a huge bicycle racing background and culture. I do my best everyday to help growing this bicycle culture everywhere but especially in Japan.
